Outreach, Missions, and Partnerships

We want to be a church that gives our lives and the gospel away to those whom we rub shoulders with every day where we live, work, and play. We believe the church is called to serve the least and the lost through both word and deed outreaches. Our primary form of outreach is through personal relationships using our “Prayer, Care, Share” model. We also want to do some fun outreach and service events that support our community and that give our church opportunities to invite friends and family to experience real Christians in the real world.

Prayer, Care, Share Model

1

How do I pray?

  • Know your neighbor's names.

  • Ask your neighbor how you can pray for them.

  • Pray the Lord's Prayer and apply it to your neighbors.

  • Pray for opportunities to serve and wisdom to know when.

  • Ask God for open doors to spiritual conversations.

  • Ask God to reveal needs that can be met.

  • Ask God for genuine love for your neighbors.

2

How do I care?

  • Cook for your neighbors.

  • Invite neighbors to your home and practice hospitality.

  • Join with your neighbors on a project that benefits your shared community.

  • Grow a garden and share the veggies with your neighbors.

  • Create a street contact list for safety and support.

  • Coach your child's team.

  • Be creative, have fun, and serve according to your gifts.

3

How do I share?

  • Use regular rhythms and conversations to talk about spiritual things.

  • Ask really great questions.

  • Throw a party and invite both church and non-church friends.

  • Invite friends to church and take them to lunch afterward.

  • Start with your testimony.

  • Find a good tool like Ralph's "God's Story, Our Story."

  • Read the Book of John with them and discuss it.
